Man, I didn’t realize how good I had it when I was “on hiatus”, sleeping in, no worries about traffic, being on time (those early morning hours I love so much), scheduling appointments for any old time. It’s nice to have a regular income again, instead of my government dole, but I am sure struggling with going to bed at a “reasonable” hour, and getting up at 5:30-6:00 am. And it’s really been a struggle with the music blog launching–I have all of these ideas for posts, and then I get home and am wiped out from fighting traffic and the blistering heat, plus trying to get ready for the Alaska trip, and just life in general. There have been a ton of great shows that I have missed in the past 2 or 3 weeks because I either felt like shit after my crown lengthening nightmare, or was just exhausted from the new day gig, or am trying to save $$$ to spend in Seattle/Alaska/Vancouver. I’ve been out a little, but I’ve definitely struggling with balance–I see a big need for more physical activity, for a myriad of reasons. I’m trying to connect the dots in training, and it’s getting clearer, but being there at 7:15 in the morning is just soooo not natural for me–I am nocturnal by nature (it’s in my genes!), and feel like I am stranded in a the wasteland that is MetroCenter. The folks are good, though.

Who knows what the future might hold though, hopefully something will work out. I’m just praying about it, keeping an open mind, and opening myself up to possibilities and blessings.

  1. Oh…My…Stars!!!
What a wonderful, sentimental, yet technical birthday present. So representative of you, and your multi-faceted personality! I love my website soooo much, and have so many ideas for things I want to put on it. I think this is the coolest possible birthday present, and my mother, father, brother, sister-in-law, nephews, Scott, and everyone else who has ever had to move, clean, or been a party to my voluminous masses of stuff thank you immensely! I can’t believe I’m going to be forty either, it seems like just yesterday we were: flying down the highway in the Z car (”living after midnight, rockin’ to the dawn”); sitting at IHOP, munching on some Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity, International Passport, or Chocolate Chip pancakes; watching the Crue (”Home Sweet Home”); hanging out in the Big House, partyin’ in the basement or piled up in your room; getting me through Death, Dying, and Bereavement; discussing who was going to wear the Guess jumper that night; putting on my wedding make-up and hair; watching Zoe crawl around; and the list goes on and on. Oh well, so far it’s been a hell of a ride, and even though I’ve made my share of mistakes, I don’t guess I’d change them if I could since they made me who I am, and I’m just glad you’ve been around through thick and thin to share in the “good times, bad times, you know I’ve had my share”!
Bessie, I love you beyond all reason or comprehension, through this life and into the next! You are the best Frister I could ever have! “Life is Death without Adventure, Adventure comes to those who are Daring, and Willing to take Chances”, as Prince says….Learn it, Live it, Love it!
    Love, and wrinkly, old kisses,
    Tallulah

  2. LOL Love you too Tallu - I do hope you enjoy this, I think you will. You can reminisce to your hearts content and store and show and tell and just about anything you wish. Perhaps you can post pictures of all of your stuff, and then sell it, and then you can come back here and revisit it anytime. Mostly you can write, and I hope very much you will do just that. Suzzann.com might just be the high dollar therapist of your dreams! :)

And your kisses are not wrinkly, you have been a good girl and used your wrinkle cream forever, and it shows. :)

Hey Fruzzann!!! Happy 40th Birthday!!!! It does seem like just yesterday when we were on our way to the farm your yellow mustang ran out of gas!!!! A lot has happened since then, but I still think of you as my Other Big Sister! Love you…..I’ll be ringing you this evening.

Whew…I made it before your birthday. We never seem to be able to get together until months after the actual birthday, holiday, anniversary (what the…whose freakin’ anniversary)! Just to state that fact, I still have your Christmas present and birthday present from last year. Pitiful, pitiful! We really need to do something about this! Dang, I shouldn’t have told you, I could have used those presents this year, cause you know I’m ghetto like ‘dat! Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful birthday, I wish we could all throw you a big party, you know we want to in spirit. I’m sure I will talk to you soon. Have a great time at the concert and look lustfully at Chris and Rich for me. Love ya bunches, Kimmy
